Marketing Manager (Healthcare Outreach & Community Relations)Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Marketing Manager to lead our outreach efforts and strengthen our presence within the healthcare and community network. This role focuses on building and maintaining in-person relationships with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, group homes, and other referral sources.
The ideal candidate is proactive, well-connected, and skilled at developing community partnerships—particularly within hospice, home health, and group home services. This position centers on physical outreach, community engagement, and partnership building rather than digital marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to build strong referral relationships with hospitals, case managers, social workers, facility administrators, and community organizations.
- Conduct regular in-person visits to hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and group homes to promote services and maintain ongoing communication.
- Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, professional meetings, and networking functions.
- Build new referral pipelines and strengthen existing partnerships through consistent engagement and follow-up.
- Provide educational materials and presentations to healthcare professionals and community partners.
- Coordinate marketing materials, brochures, print advertising, and community resources as needed.
- Support marketing efforts for hospice, home health, and group home services, ensuring messaging aligns with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Conduct market research to identify referral opportunities and understand community needs.
- Track outreach activity, measure referral growth, and report trends to leadership.
- Assist with planning and executing community-focused initiatives, events, and partnerships.
- Manage budgets related to outreach and print marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in healthcare outreach, community relations, referral development, or liaison work—preferably in hospice, home health, or group homes.
- Strong existing connections within hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior care facilities, or the ability to build these relationships quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage territory visits, and maintain a structured outreach schedule.
- Knowledge of healthcare referral processes, discharge planning, and community resource networks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple outreach efforts simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular in-person visits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
