Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive the growth of either Pedaskills or Skillvation. This role requires a blend of field marketing, community engagement, and strategic campaign planning. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, has strong on-ground marketing experience, understands customer acquisition funnels, and can execute marketing strategies with measurable impact.

You will be responsible for driving brand visibility, generating leads, building partnerships, conducting field visits, and supporting product growth across Bengaluru and adjacent regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Marketing & Community Outreach

  • Conduct field visits to apartments, schools, RWAs, learning centers, NGOs, and institutions.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders (School Principals, RWA Heads, Facility Managers, Coordinators).
  • Organize demos, events, workshops, and product awareness activities in communities.
  • Execute on-ground campaigns—flyers, posters, kiosk setups, parent interaction sessions.
  • Identify new opportunities through field mapping and competitor assessment.

2. Lead Generation & Growth Marketing

  • Plan and execute monthly lead-generation campaigns for Pedaskills/Skillvation.
  • Convert on-ground interest into leads, demos, trials, and partnerships.
  • Track performance metrics such as CPL, conversion rate, and ROI.
  • Maintain marketing dashboards and update pipeline status for leadership.

3. Brand Building & Marketing Communication

  • Collaborate with central marketing team for brand content, creatives, and digital promotions.
  • Coordinate social media campaigns aligned with field activities.
  • Develop localized marketing materials (brochures, pitch decks, WhatsApp creatives).
  • Ensure all touchpoints adhere to brand guidelines.

4. Strategic Planning & Campaign Execution

  • Develop monthly/quarterly marketing plans for apartment and school outreach.
  • Recommend new partnerships, collaborations, and campaign improvements.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer behavior and pricing dynamics.
  • Manage budgets for field marketing and lead-generation activities.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
  • Sales Team
  • Operations Team
  • Academic Team
  • Content & Media Team
  • Product Team (for LMS promotions)
  • Ensure seamless communication from lead generation → demo → closure → onboarding.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business, Education, or related fields.
  • 3–7 years of experience in marketing, field outreach, EdTech, or institutional sales.
  • Strong understanding of B2C (parent markets) or B2B (schools/institutions) depending on product alignment.
  • Comfortable with frequent field travel within the city.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and track marketing campaigns independently.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic digital marketing.

  • Experience in EdTech, K–12 educations, LMS platforms, or community-based marketing.
