The Marketing & Media Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and implementing marketing, media, and communication initiatives that support Northwest Autism Center’s mission and services. This role focuses on content development, digital media, and donor- and community-facing communications that increase visibility, engagement, and support for NAC programs. The Specialist collaborates closely with NAC leadership to ensure consistent branding and effective outreach strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital media (nonprofit or healthcare
    experience preferred).
  • Experience producing digital content across multiple platforms.
  • Experience supporting donor, fundraising, or community engagement communications strongly
    preferred.
  • Strong writing skills with demonstrated ability to craft content for diverse audiences, including donors,
    families, and partners.
  • Creative, detail oriented, and highly organized.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with email platforms, we
  • Understanding of NAC programs, mission, and community resources is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily occurs in an office environment, with occasional exposure to noise from workshops,
    events, and client activities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, communicate in person and by phone, and use hands to operate
    standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
