Marketing Officer

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

This role is for an individual with mostly theoretical and little practical/application knowledge of Marketing, to apply in projects or sub-projects as part of NMDC Group's strategy to communicate and engage all stakeholders i.e. current and potential customers, current and potential employees, media, institutions, government and other stakeholders, through targeted marketing activities in the space of Events, Digital Media and Creative Marketing Services.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Liaise with vendors, marketing partners, and other stakeholders, locally and internationally
  • Assist in managing internal and external events, conferences, exhibitions and committees (Innovation, Strategy, CSR, HSE and others)
  • Assist in BTL marketing activities i.e. gifts, giveaways, diaries, annual calendars, printing and production of signage, posters, etc.
  • Execute daily and weekly tasks, for the assigned projects, proactively
  • Track project activity and progress, and report to project lead
  • Update activity plans and timelines
  • Communicate/share/follow up on project sub-activities
  • Maintain a proper record/filing of all documentation WRT to assigned projects
  • Assist with vendor/3rd party coordination, where applicable
  • Support management and internal customers with last minute requests
  • Support in managing all internal and external events, conferences, exhibitions, and committees (Innovation, Strategy, CSR, HSE and others)
  • Support in coordination, communication, project management, admin and logistics for events
  • Assist and provide support BTL marketing activities i.e. gifts, giveaways, diaries, annual calendars, printing and production of signage, posters, etc.
  • Assist in managing brand usage across physical and digital materials
  • Carry out any other daily routines and tasks assigned by superiors
