The Non-Profit Team at Rose Marcom provides comprehensive marketing, communications, brand management, and fundraising support to charitable organizations and private foundations of all types and sizes. We are seeking a Marketing Assistant with Operations Experience to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting both our marketing initiatives and day-to-day business operations.OverviewThe Marketing & Operations Assistant will support the Owner/CEO and Communications Director in executing marketing campaigns, managing client deliverables, and streamlining operational processes. This role requires a highly organized, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing creative marketing work with structured operational support.Responsibilities
- Assist the Owner/CEO and Communications Director with marketing coordination, administrative tasks, and client support.
- Support the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns, including email, digital, social media, and print initiatives.
- Maintain and update marketing calendars, project management systems, and content schedules.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and compile reports or summaries as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors, freelancers, and internal team members to ensure timely delivery of materials and approvals.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and purchasing related to marketing and client projects.
- Take detailed meeting notes, identify next steps, and follow up to ensure timely completion of action items.
- Help plan and coordinate client events or fundraising initiatives, occasionally requiring evening or weekend availability (a few times per year).
- Participate in regular Zoom meetings with clients and staff during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.).
Requirements
- 1+ year of marketing experience (agency or nonprofit experience a plus).
- Experience in operations, project coordination, or administrative support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with project management or CRM tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, HubSpot, Airtable).
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative to improve processes and workflows.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote team environment.
