Contract Marketing Operations Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Remote
Hours: 15–20 hours per week
Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: Flexible, with some availability during normal business hours preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Marketing Operations Assistant to support day-to-day marketing activities across several local businesses in the home improvement and retail industries.

This role focuses on execution, organization, and reporting, helping keep marketing systems running smoothly and ensuring campaigns and content are implemented correctly.

You will work directly with the Marketing Director to help manage digital marketing operations across multiple brands.

This is a contract position for approximately 15–20 hours per week.

ResponsibilitiesMarketing Reporting & Analytics

  • Pull weekly reports from marketing platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Business Profiles
  • Track marketing performance metrics such as calls, leads, cost per lead, and conversions
  • Maintain marketing dashboards and spreadsheets

Listings & Local SEO Support

  • Post updates to Google Business Profiles
  • Upload project photos and marketing content
  • Monitor reviews and notify the team of new customer feedback
  • Assist with citation management and local SEO updates

Social Media Coordination

  • Schedule social media posts across multiple accounts
  • Organize photo and video assets for marketing use
  • Assist with maintaining a content calendar

Website Updates

  • Upload blog posts and project photos
  • Make minor website content updates
  • Maintain landing page content as directed

CRM & Marketing System Support

  • Help maintain CRM pipelines
  • Tag and organize incoming leads
  • Assist with basic marketing automation checks

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)
  • Familiar with digital marketing platforms and tools
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools or Meta Business Suite
  • Ability to follow processes and complete tasks independently
  • Strong communication and reliability

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience with any of the following tools is helpful:

  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads Manager
  • Google Business Profile
  • WordPress or similar website platforms
  • CRM systems such as GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or similar
  • Local SEO tools

Compensation
