The Marketing Operations Manager ensures Firestone Walker’s marketing plans move smoothly from strategy to execution. This role supports Brand, Creative, Digital, and Trade teams by organizing work, coordinating resources, and maintaining clear timelines so campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives are delivered on time and ready for market.
The position serves as the operational center of the marketing department, managing the integrated marketing calendar and helping teams align priorities, communicate effectively, and follow through on commitments.
This is a collaborative role that requires strong organization, sound judgment, and the confidence to raise risks early and keep projects moving.

Core Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Build and maintain detailed project plans and timelines for campaigns, beer releases, packaging updates, POS programs, media launches, events, and content production
Manage the integrated marketing calendar across all brands
Coordinate project kickoff meetings, milestone reviews, and post launch recaps
Ensure projects progress from briefing through final delivery with clear ownership at each stage
Track deliverables and follow up on open action items
The goal is clarity and consistency in execution.
Cross Functional Coordination
Act as the central point of coordination across Brand, Creative, Digital, Sales, Production, Packaging, and external partners
Communicate deadlines, updates, and changes to stakeholders
Help teams prioritize work and manage competing requests
Identify potential delays and work with teams to resolve them early
Escalate issues when timelines or launch readiness are at risk
Launch Readiness Support
Confirm marketing initiatives are prepared for activation before launch
Ensure assets, distributor materials, and sales tools are available on schedule
Coordinate handoffs between marketing and sales teams
Support retailer resets, promotions, and campaign activations
Workflow & Process Management
Maintain the marketing project management system and master calendar
Document repeatable workflows such as packaging changes, POS cycles, and campaign launches
Organize and maintain shared asset libraries and project documentation
Improve processes that help teams work more efficiently
Vendor & Resource Coordination
Coordinate freelancers, agencies, and production partners
Work with Creative leadership to manage project assignments and resource availability
Monitor project budgets and timelines
Ensure partners deliver according to expectations
Reporting & Communication
Provide regular status updates to marketing leadership
Track key project milestones and commitments
Help ensure follow through on agreed action items and deadlines
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or integrated campaign coordination
Experience in CPG, beverage, lifestyle, or creative driven organizations preferred
Familiarity with marketing campaign development and creative production processes
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with cross functional teams and senior stakeholders
Systems & Tools Proficiency
This role relies heavily on project management and collaboration platforms to coordinate work across teams and partners. The Project Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for maintaining organized workflows and ensuring projects are visible, trackable, and documented.
Working experience with project management and collaboration SaaS platforms such as Asana,
Monday.com, Smartsheet, Wrike, Airtable, or similar tools
Ability to build timelines, task dependencies, approval workflows, and recurring project templates
Maintain the Master Marketing Calendar and project tracking system
Monitor project status and ensure tasks are kept current by stakeholders
Organize and maintain shared digital assets and documentation
Coordinate approvals, feedback, and version control across teams
Familiarity with cloud based file systems (Google Drive, Dropbox, SharePoint)
Working knowledge of communication tools such as Slack or Microsoft Teams
Comfort learning and supporting additional marketing platforms such as DAM systems, media trafficking platforms, and creative review tools
