The Role

We are on a mission to make resistance training accepted and utilized as more than aesthetics, but medicine. Backed by science, delivered by expert trainers. Designed for the busiest people. With plans to grow to 250 studios by 2035, we need marketing systems that scale, campaigns that convert, and tech that works flawlessly.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Execute campaigns that power studio and franchise growth.
  • Ensure seamless lead flow and backend system alignment.
  • Manage and optimize marketing technology and platforms.
  • Build structure, automation, and insights into everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Operations (80%)

  • Own our marketing tech stack(HubSpot, website, SMS, scheduling software, etc.) — ensure clean data, proper integrations, reporting accuracy.
  • Manage campaign execution: set up landing pages, email nurtures, automations, and lead routing.
  • Track performance metrics and build dashboards for leadership and franchisees as needed
  • Standardize marketing processes for new studio launches (checklists, playbooks, campaign templates).
  • Ad Operations: posting and/or trafficking of paid and organic campaign assets
  • Work closely with Pre-Opening Project Manager and Franchise Business Coach to ensure smooth execution of studio launches for all marketing and marketing technology components
  • Recommend and implement improvement to workflows and tools
  • Support the Brand Fund by coordinating with external vendors/agencies (SEO, lead nurture and digital campaigns)

Marketing Coordination (20%)

  • Assist in local studio marketing support: mailers, events, partnerships, race sponsorships.
  • Manage Canva account and approval on franchisee content creation.
  • Support Discover Strength key internal events and coordination of events, including the annual Discover Strength Summit.
  • Campaign execution of weekly Discover Strength Podcast.
  • Track corporate invoices and use of Brand Fund.

Ideal Candidate

  • Aligned with our Core Values of Learning, Servant Leadership, Creating our Own Future, and Science Based.
  • 3–5 years in marketing operations, demand gen, or digital marketing.
  • Experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM/automation tools).
  • Experience with Squarespace or Wordpress (or comfortable learning).
  • Experience with Mindbody is a plus.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and reporting, integrating and problem-solving platform integrations.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently — thrives in a fast-scaling, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple initiatives.
  • Familiar with franchise or multi-location marketing (a plus, not required).
  • Excited to be a part of a growing business with a small corporate team.
  • Passion for fitness, wellness, or evidence-based exercise (bonus if they already strength train).

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital media.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and CRM
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic marketing automation.
  • Strong attention to detail

Compensation & Perks

  • Salary: $65,000-$75,000.
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in Saint Louis Park HQ, balance remote.
  • Complimentary personal training at Discover Strength.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
