Marketing & PR Coordinator (Franchise Accounts)

A.Watts Collective is a boutique marketing and public relations agency specializing in hospitality, franchise, and community-based brands. We take a boots-on-the-ground approach to marketing—bringing strategy to life through authentic storytelling, influencer activations, and local engagement.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a highly organized and creative Marketing & PR Coordinator to support our franchise accounts. This role will assist with day-to-day social media management, influencer coordination, public relations tasks, and campaign support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Support

  • Schedule and post approved content in HeyOrca for all assigned accounts
  • Engage with local audiences across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Gather content from client locations (photos, reels, videos)
  • Write captions and upload content for review and approval
  • Monitor and respond to comments, tags, and messages
  • Track performance metrics and assist with monthly reporting

Influencer Marketing

  • Assist with influencer outreach, coordination, and scheduling
  • Track deliverables and gather post links for campaign recaps
  • Communicate with influencers and location teams for visits
  • Manage content folders and rights-approved usage files

Public Relations

  • Help draft and distribute press releases and pitches
  • Update media lists and coverage trackers
  • Assist with event logistics, media nights, and grand openings
  • Support on-site with event check-ins, signage, and influencer hosting

Administrative & Account Support

  • Maintain content calendars and campaign timelines
  • Coordinate client updates and internal communications
  • Assist with recaps, meeting notes, and presentation decks
  • Support the Manager of Marketing & PR with additional projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, PR, or social media (agency or hospitality experience preferred)
  • Strong writing, organization, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in social scheduling tools (HeyOrca, Sprout, or similar)
  • Comfortable working in Canva and Google Workspace
  • Bonus: Familiarity with influencer platforms (Upfluence) and PR tools (Muck Rack, Meltwater)
  • Availability for occasional evenings/weekends during grand openings or events

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
