Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, organized, and people-first Marketing & Sales Coordinator to help grow student enrollment, workshop attendance, and salon services. This role combines hands-on marketing execution, paid advertising, website management, vendor coordination, student support, and community engagement. You’ll also serve as a key point of contact for students and clients, helping them move smoothly from first inquiry to enrollment or booking.
This is an entry-level position with clear opportunities for growth into Marketing & Enrollment Specialist or Manger as you demonstrate results.
What You’ll Do
Marketing & Campaigns
- Plan and implement marketing strategies to grow student enrollment, workshop/event attendance, continuing education, and salon clients.
- Conduct campaigns through various media channels (social, web, print, email) to promote programs and services.
- Draft, edit, and schedule marketing communications for media placement in a variety of channels.
- Develop and execute promotions for the salon (new and returning clients).
- Manage content calendars across social, email, and website.
- Write and coordinate email campaigns, social posts, blogs, and other assets.
- Evaluate and analyze content marketing metrics to identify trending topics, audiences, and strategy improvements.
- Assist in quality control of marketing data and materials; generate and distribute reports.
- Monitor and analyze social media channels and campaigns; provide actionable solutions for enrollment growth.
Paid Advertising
- Plan, build, and optimize Google Ads and Facebook/Instagram Ads campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research, manage negative keyword lists, and refine targeting.
- Create and update ad creatives (copy, images, video snippets)
- Build and optimize landing pages in Wix for conversions.
Website & Branding
- Update and maintain the website— program pages, start dates, tuition, testimonials, and salon offerings.
- Coordinate communication related to branding strategies, website content, marketing plans, public relations, and timelines.
- Apply targeted SEO and SEM best practices to improve visibility.
- Ensure all website and marketing content reflects brand standards.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Research potential vendors for advertising, printing, events, branding, and graphic design;
- Reach out to vendors to request quotes, proposals, or service details.
- Evaluate vendor fit based on cost, quality, and alignment with school/salon needs.
- Maintain records of vendor contacts, proposals, and recommendations.
- Support leadership in vendor selection and ongoing coordination.
Events & Community Engagement
- Help coordinate and promote events and webinars for LYS.
- Manage event marketing calendars, communications, and follow-ups.
- Capture leads during events (via Microsoft Forms or QR codes) and track through CRM.
- Support community partnerships with local schools, salons, and organizations.
Sales, Enrollment & Student Support
- Monitor and facilitate the workflow of prospective students from first contact through enrollment; provide regular reports.
- Create and maintain a SharePoint for students site.
- Conduct outreach to prospects via email, phone, and social to qualify leads and schedule discovery calls/tours.
- Respond to new inquiries; schedule tours via Microsoft Bookings.
- Welcome prospective students during tours; explain programs, tuition, and next steps.
- Run a follow-up sequence until enroll or opt-out.
- Serve as a critical point of contact for students, answering questions and supporting retention via phone, chat, email, or text.
- Maintain CRM/lead tracker records in Excel or CRM software.
Research, Benchmarking & Innovation
- Conduct competitive benchmarking of other schools, salons, and programs to identify opportunities.
- Review and analyze campaign, program, service, and event effectiveness to guide marketing direction, segmentation, and targeting.
- Continuously identify and suggest improvements in marketing, communication, and student support.
- Flag new program or service opportunities based on student/client feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall goals.
You Are
- Organized and detail-oriented; skilled at managing multiple calendars and projects.
- Strong communicator across phone, email, social, and in-person.
- Familiarity with managing paid advertising
- Comfortable editing and maintaining a Wix website
- Tech-savvy
- Experience in marketing, social media, email campaigns, and analytics.
- Comfortable reaching out to and coordinating with external vendors.
- Some exposure to CRM systems (HubSpot or similar).
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Google Analytics, SEO/SEM
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
