Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced consultant to support Marketing Sourcing initiatives by leading the implementation and optimization of marketing buying channel platforms such as AMS, Decideware, or similar tools. This individual will play a key role in strengthening marketing procurement processes, enhancing supplier performance management, and driving data-driven decision-making.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Leverage deep Marketing Procurement expertise, with a strong focus on marketing agencies, including managing strategic supplier relationships and performance evaluations.

Lead the deployment and enhancement of marketing buying channel platforms (e.g., AMS, Decideware, or similar), ensuring successful implementation and adoption.

Utilize Scope of Work (SOW) tools effectively, demonstrating proficiency in taxonomy development, data analysis, and translating insights into actionable initiatives.

Oversee the rollout of the Scope of Work tool, including taxonomy reviews, alignment with agency requirements, and end-to-end implementation processes.

Develop and implement clear Ways of Working and a structured Planning Process Calendar in partnership with marketing stakeholders.

Design and optimize analytics dashboards to maximize the value of procurement tools and generate meaningful business insights.

Establish and embed a comprehensive Supplier Performance and Relationship Management framework, while proactively identifying future capability needs.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and subject matter expertise to team members and cross-functional partners.
Required Competencies

Proven experience in category-specific sourcing within marketing agencies.

Hands-on experience deploying and managing marketing agency buying channels (e.g., AMS, Decideware, or similar platforms).

Strong expertise in agency negotiations and aligning sourcing outcomes with broader business objectives.

Solid understanding of operating within a regulated environment.

Forward-thinking, AI-ready mindset with interest in exploring AI-driven opportunities within marketing services.

Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive innovation.

Exceptional analytical, project management, communication, and presentation skills.

Required Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or a related discipline.
Required Experience
-
Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing procurement, sourcing, or related fields.
Contract Length: 6 months with the chance to extend.
Remote - Eligible
Pay Range:
$65/hr. - $80/hr.
Shift/Hours:
Monday - Friday
