Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

As a key member of Quility’s distribution marketing team, the Marketing Specialist crafts and executes promotional plans and materials that bring our marketing strategy to life. This role works closely with department leadership to develop impactful campaigns that amplify agent brands, elevate agent voices, and empower our agents to market themselves successfully to their clients. By blending creativity with strategic thinking, the Marketing Specialist helps drive brand visibility and support the growth of our distribution network.

Responsibilities:

Product and solution marketing support :

  • Collaborate daily with marketing departmental stakeholders, including sales and distribution, dev, product marketing, brand marketing, marketing operations, graphic design, content strategists, and videography, in the creative development process.
  • Operate as the point of contact with Quility product office to create marketing strategies and nurturing programs that increase distribution awareness and demand for proprietary products and Quility platforms to our agents.
  • Support launch strategy and execution of new software application and digital insurance product rollouts for B2B and B2B2C audiences in collaboration with Product, Distribution and Sales/Leads.
  • Create content and sales collateral in support of insurance solutions for internal and external audiences.

Brand marketing support:

  • Lead media research and outreach efforts as assigned by Director of Marketing.
  • Develop assigned language and branding materials for agent events.
  • Support on-site event content creation as assigned by Director of Marketing.
  • Lead agent amplification and storytelling outreach efforts, collaborating with the broader team to publish their stories and bring them to life.

Qualifications:

  • Responsible for business-as-usual upkeep of marketing resources and assets for proprietary products and platforms.

  • Working knowledge of corporate platforms for our agents with editing capabilities as needed. Daily use of Atlassian applications (JIRA, Confluence).

  • Maintain streamlined 2-way communication with external stakeholders and escalate to appropriate parties.

  • Participate on and/or lead cross-functional teams for marketing and enterprise projects, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
  • Experience developing promotional plans, content, and materials in alignment with broader marketing strategies.
  • Working knowledge of corporate platforms used by agents, with the ability to edit or update assets as needed; daily familiarity with Atlassian applications such as Jira and Confluence is a plus.
  • Proven ability to maintain and update marketing resources and assets for proprietary products and platforms.
  • Skilled at maintaining clear two-way communication with external stakeholders and escalating issues to the right parties when necessary.
  • Comfortable participating in — and occasionally leading — cross-functional teams for marketing or enterprise-wide projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, building access is limited to two sets of stairs and may require lifting or moving objects up to 30 lbs. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
