Lake Superior Helicopters (LSH) is a helicopter service provider that takes pride in our small company, family type culture and our employees quality work. Over the last 15 years LSH has focused on the safety in the aviation industry and continues to strive to exceed expectations in quality service throughout our organization.

LSH has expanded to include all types of helicopter services from charters to tourism to instruction. We have two locations including Duluth, MN and New Orleans, LA. Recently we grew into another aviation segment of airplane flight training with a rapidly growing group of students, staff, and aircraft. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Marketing Director to join our exceptional team of professionals. The Marketing Director will report directly to the Owner and have a proven track record in successfully managing social media accounts and marketing programs. He/she will own the company’s marketing strategy for both the Duluth and New Orleans locations and be responsible for sales conversion performance.

This department will be a single employee of the Marketing Director for 12 months. Posted salary includes base pay and potential bonus/commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Plan & Budget: Create and execute a marketing plan for the operations including creating and managing a budget that exceeds $50,000.00.

§ Manages company social media accounts: Responsible to manage and grow audiences of the company’s social media accounts to increase the company's online presence and increase sales conversions.

§ Maintains and constantly updates company website: Understands the trends in website designs and works to constantly maintain relevancy of our online presence and ensures novel and fresh content is regularly published.

§ Implement and oversee marketing campaigns based on data analytics: Develops marketing campaigns on multiple platforms with specific goals in order to reach campaign goals based on data analytics. Platforms may include but are not limited to social media platforms, digital ads, print ads, billboards, radio, etc.

§ Increases partnerships and synergies with local businesses: Networks with other local businesses to create partnerships that are mutually beneficial and build upon existing synergies.

§ Ensure that all sales channels are optimized: Determines the appropriate sales availability for each sales channel and ensures that the sales availability is up to date for each channel.

§ Determine helicopter availability and develop schedules for optimal sales: Develops a dynamic helicopter schedule and availability that optimizes sales potential and profitability.

§ Manages Interns: Finds, hires, and manages interns who will procure creative media and written content as necessary for multiple platforms including all company social media posts, ads, website, SEO, brochures, and any other content as required by the organization.

Role Requirements

  • Proven track record managing multiple social media platforms and growth achieved.
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years marketing experience.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Thrives in a team environment with little direction
  • Flexibility and commitment to take on additional work responsibilities as assigned
  • Outgoing and able to build relationships with people from varied backgrounds.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of team members along with a collaborative style

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
