Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and resourceful Marketing Specialist to join our team across Engenious, Engenious University, and Marathon Labs. Unlike a purely executional role, this position requires someone who can think strategically, work efficiently, and take initiative after receiving general direction.
The ideal candidate won’t just “do tasks” — they’ll evaluate the best way to accomplish outcomes, use technology and automation to work smarter, and keep messaging aligned with company frameworks. You’ll play a critical role in scaling our marketing efforts without unnecessary bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Distribution & Engagement
- Develop and execute smart social campaigns (LinkedIn, X, Facebook) using automation tools where appropriate.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with established frameworks and positioning guidelines.
- Campaign Management
- Build and optimize email campaigns (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) with clear CTAs and measurable outcomes.
- Run targeted lead-generation campaigns across digital channels and manage follow-up workflows.
- Automation & Efficiency
- Proactively identify ways to automate or streamline repetitive tasks (e.g., LinkedIn reply bots, Zapier integrations, AI-powered content distribution).
- Anticipate scaling challenges — avoid manual processes that break once volume increases.
- Content Optimization
- Manage YouTube and other media channels with a focus on engagement, SEO, and measurable growth.
- Repurpose core messaging and assets across platforms using a “Create Once, Replicate Everywhere” (CORE®) approach.
- Event & Community Growth
- Promote workshops and webinars, leveraging campaigns that maximize attendance and conversions.
- Apply structured offers and incentive logic (e.g., group discounts, referral perks) without needing micro-approvals.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance across campaigns, generate insights, and make proactive recommendations.
- Share learnings regularly with leadership to drive continuous improvement.
- Marketing Funnel Implementation & Design Collaboration
- Collaborate with designers to implement and optimize marketing funnels using tools like Framer, Webflow, and similar platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field OR proven track record in a similar marketing role.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing (B2B/SaaS or technology a plus).
- Strong grasp of LinkedIn marketing, content frameworks, and campaign efficiency tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use HubSpot or similar CRMs.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Zapier, ManyChat, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools
- Must be highly organized
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Excellent written communication and alignment to brand messaging.
- High initiative: ability to anticipate needs and act without step-by-step instructions.
- Understanding of marketing funnel concepts, with the ability to analyze, design, and optimize funnels in collaboration with designers using tools such as Framer, Webflow, or similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or LinkedIn Marketing.
- Experience with AI-powered tools for content creation and campaign scaling.
- Proven examples of solving marketing challenges by creating scalable systems instead of manual fixes.
- Experience with webinar promotion, nurture sequences, and community engagement campaigns.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
- Campaigns run without needing constant oversight.
- Processes scale — no manual bottlenecks.
- Messaging stays consistent across platforms.
- Data-driven insights are proactively shared.
- New ideas and solutions are proposed before problems escalate.
