Summary: The Marketing Specialist assists in the development and implementation of the company’s marketing strategy and ensures all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
Responsibilities:
- Manage Social Channels: The Marketing Specialist will create, manage, and optimize social media content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. This consists of reposting of partner-provided content (approximately 8-12 posts per month) and creation of original content (approximately 4 per month).
- Manage Website: Creative maintains a WordPress-based website. The Digital Marketing Specialist will maintain job postings and generate a minimum of one blog post per month. The Marketing Specialist will also periodically review website performance and make recommendations to improve visitor engagement.
- Project Documentation: The Marketing Specialist will photograph/video and write a one-page summary for completed projects identified by Sales Leadership. This is typically one per month.
- Marketing Materials Support: The Marketing Specialist will maintain a library of marketing materials, including proposal templates, letterhead, business cards, and other supporting materials. They will also periodically review these documents, updating them as required.
- Event Marketing: The Marketing Specialist will create promotional materials and manage invitations for key events throughout the year, using the Eventbrite platform.
- Proposal Support: The Marketing Specialist will assist staff members with the creation of proposals and RFP responses, ensuring that outgoing documents are reviewed for compliance with brand standards.
- Digital Marketing Reporting: Every quarter, the Marketing Specialist will prepare a Digital Marketing Report, detailing engagement, audience growth, and revenue attribution. This report will also include recommendations for improvements and descriptions of upcoming campaigns.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field; 2-5 years of experience in a marketing role
Computer Skills: Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Applications, Adobe Applications, and WordPress. Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools and content management systems.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Primary Environment: Ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment found in a typical office. Occasional exposure to building areas where use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats, hearing protection and safety glasses may be required.
