Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours a Week (Hybrid Schedule)

You, our Ideal Candidate
The Marketing Specialist contributes to the organization’s overall marketing strategy by developing, managing and executing marketing campaigns and communication strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement and support business growth initiatives. This role works closely with internal and external teams to source content, ensure brand consistency, and support a range of communication efforts. The Marketing Specialist ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels while adhering to brand guidelines and securing the necessary approvals. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively drive multiple growth and support services initiatives while consistently delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
  • Marketing Campaigns & Strategy
    • Contribute to the development and execution of growth marketing initiatives and campaigns across multiple channels
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in support services to gather content and ensure brand messaging in collaboration with the LEC communities
    • Ensure timely delivery of campaigns, advertisements, and marketing materials
  • Content Creation & Media
    • Collaboration with the digital marketing team in creating engaging multimedia content
    • Maintain media contact lists and assist with media relations
    • Coordinate and assist with press conferences and media events
  • Internal Communications
    • Coordinate internal communications to keep employees informed of company developments
    • Maintain internal databases and contribute to internal newsletters and employee spotlights
    • Support employee engagement initiatives by gathering and writing content, providing internal updates and assisting with the development of internal messaging strategies.
  • Sponsorships
    • Plan and execute company events, trade shows, and community outreach programs
    • Manage event logistics, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and promotional materials
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Track and analyze communication and campaign metrics to assess effectiveness
    • Prepare reports and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Perform other functions as deemed necessary and appropriate, or as may be directed
Requirements
  • Education/Professional Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business or a related field- or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiar with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Hootsuite), CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities for crafting clear, engaging content across various platforms.
  • Organizational Strength: Excellent time management and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Additional Assets: Experience in event planning, SEO/SEM knowledge, and familiarity with social media strategy and analytics are preferred.
