Job Purpose:

To support the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that enhance brand visibility, drive business growth, and ensure consistent communication across all channels The role also collaborates with internal teams and external partners to deliver effective marketing materials, events, and promotional activities within budget and on schedule

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth
  • Plan, organize, and oversee offline marketing initiatives, including events, trade shows, and promotional activities
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to create impactful marketing materials and strategies that effectively support sales objectives
  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies and plans
  • Develop engaging and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for marketing initiatives and internal or external communications
  • Manage marketing budgets efficiently, ensuring campaigns are delivered within financial parameters and providing regular performance and budget utilization reports
  • Strengthen and promote consistent brand awareness and alignment across all internal and external channels
  • Draft and implement marketing plans to support product launches, advertising efforts, and participation in exhibitions
  • Develop and produce promotional materials, catalogs, and collateral for marketing events, conferences, and campaigns
  • Coordinate and maintain effective communication with advertising and design agencies to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables

Job Skills and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of core marketing concepts like market research, segmentation, targeting, positioning, marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion), and customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques to measure marketing campaign performance, track key metrics, and drive insights
  • Knowledge of brand building strategies, brand equity, and brand messaging
  • Familiarity with the specific industry the marketing specialist is working in, including its competitive landscape, target audience, and key trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong creative thinking skills to develop unique and effective marketing campaigns
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify marketing challenges, analyze data, and develop solutions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other marketing professionals, designers, developers, and other departments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and stay within budget
  • Proficient in various marketing software and tools, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics dashboards, social media management platforms, and content creation tools
  • Openness to learning new marketing strategies, technologies, and trends to stay relevant in a constantly evolving field
  • Ability to convince and influence stakeholders to buy into marketing strategies and plans
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals with vendors and partners
  • Ability to lead and motivate others, inspiring and guiding marketing teams to achieve goals
  • Ability to think strategically about marketing campaigns, align them with overall business objectives, and measure their impact
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication or Business Administration; Marketing major is preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of experience; preferably in the Marketing field
  • Post-graduate studies in Marketing will be a plus
