What your typical day will look like

• Develop and manage domestic and international yarn suppliers, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Monitor yarn market trends, forecast price movements, negotiate commercial terms, and align procurement activities with approved budgets.
• Execute local sales orders, including Oracle data entry, sales contract and Delivery Order (DO) generation.
• Coordinate closely with dyeing, production, and technical teams for order execution, sampling, specifications, and timely follow-ups.
• Maintain yarn inventory through position and ageing analysis to ensure uninterrupted supply for production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, sustainability requirements, and supplier performance through regular reviews and audits.

What you need to succeed at this role

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering with upto 2 years' of experience in relationship management and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in yarn sourcing, order execution, or textile marketing preferred.
• Strong understanding of yarn markets, costing, and supplier negotiations.
• Proficiency in Oracle or ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented individual withstrong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.
