Marketing Specialist (Pitch Decks, Visual Storytelling & Partnerships)

Early-stage hire with direct access to leadership

Location: Austin, TX (In Office Preferred) — Remote possible for exceptional candidates

About the Role

We are looking for a visual storyteller and marketing builder who can transform ideas into powerful, professional marketing materials.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing, design, and business development. You will work directly with leadership to translate complex concepts into compelling presentations, pitch decks, workflow visuals, and marketing assets that help us win partnerships and grow the business.

You will support storytelling across multiple company initiatives including Vendidit, GlobalSKU, and Upstream, helping translate product capabilities and operational ideas into clear, professional visual narratives.

In a startup environment, speed matters. The right person for this role thrives on taking rough ideas, whiteboard sketches, and messy notes and turning them into clear, polished, high‑impact visual stories.

You will also work directly with leadership on presentations and materials used with partners, investors, and major marketplace platforms.

What You'll Do

• Build professional presentations for sales, partnerships, and executive audiences

• Design pitch decks, one‑pagers, and marketing materials that clearly communicate our value

• Translate complex operational processes and systems into simple visual workflows and diagrams

• Turn rough concepts or whiteboard ideas into polished marketing assets

• Create charts, diagrams, and infographics to support storytelling and data communication

• Work closely with leadership, sales, and product teams to support business development

• Maintain consistent branding and visual identity across marketing materials

• Organize and maintain a library of templates, graphics, and reusable assets

• Rapidly produce new materials and updates to support a fast‑moving business

What We're Looking For

• Excellent visual communication and layout instincts

• Ability to translate complex ideas into simple visuals

• Strong attention to detail and brand consistency

• Ability to work quickly and produce polished materials under tight timelines

• Comfortable collaborating directly with leadership and cross‑functional teams

• Self‑starter who can take rough ideas and turn them into finished work

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 depending on experience
