Marketing Specialist (SaaS)

Join Glue Up on our mission to transform how communities, associations, and other non-profit organizations connect and grow. We provide an all-in-one engagement management software that empowers organizations to manage events, memberships, CRM, and campaigns all in one place. We’re building the future of community engagement, and we need an innovative marketer to help us tell that story.

We're looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to own Glue Up’s events program from concept to closing recap, and to keep our content, social media, and email campaigns running at full speed. You'll produce webinars that event and community professionals actually want to attend, show up world-class at industry conferences, and turn every event into pipeline. And you'll do it with AI tools as your default, not your backup plan.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Own Glue Up's events program end-to-end. From scouting and securing speaking slots to coordinating logistics, swag, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up. You will handle the full lifecycle for both in-person conferences and online formats. Nothing falls through the cracks because you caught it first.
  • Be a power user of our product. You'll use Glue Up’s own platform to design, run, and manage our online and offline event programs, showcasing our capabilities to our exact target audience.
  • Design and run our online event program. You'll build a repeatable format for webinars, virtual panels, and community sessions. You set the agenda, bring in the right guests, drive registrations, and make sure every attendee leaves with actionable insights.
  • Drive campaign and content production. You treat every event as a content opportunity. You'll write and publish blog posts, event recaps, email newsletters, and social content to squeeze the value out of every campaign long after it ends.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns. You'll plan and send newsletters, event promotion emails, and post-event nurture sequences (using HubSpot/Glue Up). You track open and click-through rates and iterate based on what works.
  • Use AI to move faster and do more. You reach for tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and AI workflow builders as a matter of habit. You use them to draft content at scale, automate campaign workflows, research event opportunities, and free yourself from repetitive manual tasks.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience: You have 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a proven track record of owning events and campaigns from start to finish. You've done it yourself, not just supported someone else who did.
  • Organized executor: You are a self-starter who can manage five spinning plates without dropping any. You build checklists, track deadlines, and follow up without being asked.
  • Strong writer: You can produce a newsletter, an event recap, or a LinkedIn post that busy professionals actually want to read. You are fast, clear, and persuasive.
  • AI-first mindset: You don't wait for someone to tell you there's a better way to do something - you've already prototyped it in ChatGPT or Claude. You use AI tools to research, draft, automate, and scale.
  • Audience empathy: You understand the B2B SaaS landscape and know how to communicate value to community builders, association executives, and event organizers.
  • Technical chops: You have hands-on experience with email marketing tools (HubSpot preferred), CRM systems, and a solid understanding of modern social media strategy.
  • Performance marketing: You have good experience managing PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) and optimizing ad performance.
  • US-Based: You are based in the United States and comfortable traveling for key industry conferences and event production periods.

What we expect from you:

You'll join as a highly autonomous individual contributor on the Marketing team. Your first priority is to understand the Glue Up product, our target audience, and our current campaign engine so you can start contributing fast.

By the end of Month 1, you will:

  • Complete onboarding and meet key stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Product.
  • Learn the Glue Up platform inside and out, specifically the event and campaign modules.
  • Audit the current events/campaigns calendar, identify the next 2-3 events you'll own, and propose a new online event format.
  • Send your first email campaign and schedule social posts.
  • Build one simple AI-driven workflow that saves you or the team manual work.

By the end of Month 3, you will:

  • Own our events and conferences end-to-end, from logistics to follow-up.
  • Deliver your first major webinar or virtual event: speakers confirmed, registrations hit target, recap published.
  • Be a reliable, self-starting contributor to the content calendar - publishing consistently and meeting deadlines without being micromanaged.
  • Produce a post-campaign performance report with concrete recommendations for improvement.

By the end of Month 6, you will:

  • Own a repeatable online events program with at least 3 editions delivered and a clear formula for success.
  • Have a measurable impact on email marketing performance (e.g., higher open rates, improved click-through, or a highly converting nurture sequence you built from scratch).
  • Be the undisputed go-to person for event logistics and campaign execution across the marketing team, with zero coordination gaps.
  • Propose an events and campaigns roadmap for the next quarter that directly connects to Glue Up's broader pipeline and revenue goals.
