Marketing Support Specialist

Position Overview:

The Marketing Support Specialist will assist in executing marketing campaigns and strategies for both retail and wholesale segments. The role requires a dynamic individual with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for content creation and the cannabis industry. The successful candidate will support the development and maintenance of brand identity across all platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with company objectives.

Campaign Support:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of campaign materials.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.

Content Creation and Management:

• Support the creation, editing, and distribution of digital content across various platforms (website, social media, email).
• Maintain and update content calendars to ensure a steady flow of engaging material.
• Collaborate with marketing team members and other stakeholders to develop written and visual content, including photography and videography.

Branding:

• Help maintain adherence to brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
• Assist in the creation of marketing assets and other promotional materials.
• Support the execution of brand refresh initiatives as needed.

Digital Media:

• Assist in day-to-day social media management across multiple brands and platforms.
• Assist in the production of multimedia content, including videos for social media, internal training needs, etc.
• Assist in website updates and ensure best SEO practices are followed.

Market Research:

• Assist in conducting market research to identify trends and insights that inform marketing strategies and relevant, on-trend content creation.
• Help compile and analyze data from various sources to support decision-making.

Administrative Support:

• Organize and maintain marketing files and documentation.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other marketing materials as required.
• Help assemble and distribute store marketing materials, swag and special event collateral as needed.
• Responsible for all other tasks assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a marketing support, social media, or other relevant role, preferably within cannabis or another CPG industry.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Constant Contact, Dutchie, Alpine IQ, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience with photography/videography is a plus.
• Demonstrated knack for creativity
• Basic knowledge of social media advertising and digital marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn, pivot, and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic industry

Preferred Skills:

• Content Creation Portfolio – Demonstrated digital, photography, videography experience is a plus.
• Strong graphic video editing skills (social media, instore displays)
• A passion for personal growth, furthering education, and staying ahead of the trend.

Stipulation of employment is passing an OHIO BCI and FBI background check in accordance with ORC/OAC 3796.

Employees are not allowed to work on the premises until the badge is activated in the Ohio Department of Medical Marijuana e-Licensing portal.
