Marketing Team Lead

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Marketing Team Lead to oversee and execute our digital marketing initiatives across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social media channels.
This role is ideal for someone who combines creativity with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving audience growth, increasing engagement, coordinating content production, managing external partners, and ensuring marketing objectives are
consistently achieved.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The Marketing Team Lead will develop and execute marketing strategies, guide creative initiatives, coordinate internal and external resources, and take ownership of achieving measurable results.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who identifies opportunities, removes roadblocks, takes initiative, and drives projects forward with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Growth
● Develop and execute digital marketing and social media strategies that drive audience growth, engagement, brand awareness, donor acquisition, and fundraising outcomes.
● Support organizational fundraising efforts through the development and promotion of donor-focused campaigns across digital channels.
● Create and implement marketing initiatives that increase donations, donor retention, event participation, and community engagement.
● Collaborate with leadership to develop fundraising campaigns, appeals, donor communications, and awareness initiatives.
● Track, analyze, and report on fundraising campaign performance, including reach, engagement, conversions, donor acquisition, and return on investment.
● Identify opportunities to strengthen donor relationships through storytelling, digital engagement, and strategic communications.
● Ensure marketing activities support both organizational objectives and fundraising goals .

Content Strategy & Execution
● Develop and execute content strategies that drive audience growth, engagement, brand awareness, and business objectives.
● Collaborate closely with photographers, videographers, designers, content creators, and external vendors to ensure content aligns with marketing goals and brand standards.
● Provide creative direction and feedback throughout the content development process.
● Identify content opportunities based on audience behavior, performance data, and platform trends.
● Create social media content, stories, posts, and short-form videos when needed to support campaigns, maintain consistency, or meet business objectives.
● Write and edit compelling captions, messaging, and calls-to-action tailored to each platform and audience.
● Ensure all content supports established KPIs and contributes to measurable marketing results.
● Maintain a strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
Team Leadership & Coordination
● Lead and coordinate marketing initiatives across internal teams and external partners.
● Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
● Identify and remove obstacles that may impact project success.
● Foster accountability, collaboration, and clear communication among all stakeholders.
● Maintain project timelines and ensure marketing priorities are executed efficiently.
● Serve as a resource and leader for team members involved in marketing activities.
Performance & Reporting
● Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports with actionable insights and
recommendations.
● Use analytics and performance data to improve content, campaigns, and audience targeting.
● Evaluate marketing effectiveness and recommend improvements based on measurable results.
● Ensure marketing initiatives contribute to growth, engagement, and organizational objectives.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management
● Coordinate effectively with third-party agencies, contractors, consultants, and service providers.
● Maintain strong professional relationships with external partners.
● Clearly communicate priorities, expectations, deliverables, and deadlines.
● Ensure external resources align with brand standards and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications
● Minimum 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, marketing leadership,
or a related field.
● Proven experience developing and executing successful social media and digital marketing strategies.
● Demonstrated ability to grow and engage audiences across social media platforms.
● Strong portfolio showcasing marketing campaigns, content initiatives, social media growth, and
measurable results.
● Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
● Ability to create effective social media content and messaging that supports marketing objectives and
audience engagement.
● Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, scheduling tools, and digital marketing
best practices.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong organizational, project management, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working with nonprofit organizations, healthcare organizations, service-based businesses, or
mission-driven organizations.
● Experience managing outside agencies, freelancers, or creative vendors.
● Knowledge of paid social media advertising and campaign optimization.
● Experience leading cross-functional projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
