Job Title: Marketing Technology Specialist

Classification: Regular full-time, non-exempt

Pay: $90,000

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-6:00pm

Location: Boulder, CO 80301 (Broadway Location)

Opportunity

The Marketing Technologies Manager owns all digital systems, automations, data flows, and technical marketing tools that power Titan Vans and Timber Van Kits. This role ensures our marketing stack is efficient, integrated, accurate, and scalable across both brands while supporting sales, product launches, and ongoing campaigns. They act as the technical backbone for Marketing, Sales, E-commerce, and Customer Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain all marketing platforms (HubSpot/CRM, Shopify, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo/Mailchimp, Airtable integrations, etc.).
  • Manage integrations between systems (Shopify ↔ Airtable, CRM ↔ Email Marketing, CRM ↔ Sales Pipelines).
  • Ensure clean data hygiene across all tools.
  • Implement and maintain pixel tracking, UTMs, conversion APIs, and attribution tools.
  • Own and maintain website tracking, goals, funnels, heatmaps (GA4, Tag Manager, Hotjar).
  • Manage TitanVans.com and TimberVanKits.com CMS changes, updates, landing pages, product pages, and SEO structure.
  • Implement A/B tests for product pages, conversion paths, and lead forms.
  • Optimize for mobile responsiveness, page speed, and accessibility.
  • Work closely with marketing & product teams on new product launches and content updates.
  • Support Timber Shopify store apps, automations, and checkout customizations.
  • Build and maintain customer segmentation logic for both Titan & Timber audiences (DIY builders, custom build customers, service customers, ABP builders, etc.).
  • Design automated email flows (abandoned cart, post-purchase, LTV re-engagement, nurtures, event sequences).
  • Oversee lead routing rules, scoring, and workflows for Titan’s sales team.
  • Create dashboards and reporting for lead funnel health, conversion rates, and customer insights.
  • Create and maintain performance dashboards for both brands covering:
  • Web traffic & funnel metrics
  • Shopify ecommerce data
  • Paid ads KPIs
  • Email marketing KPIs
  • Sales pipeline metrics
  • Monitor attribution paths and assist in budgeting decisions (channel ROI, CAC, LTV).
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into trends, product performance, geographic growth, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain standardized reporting cadence (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Work with software development and or build Airtable automations and scripts that support marketing and operations (SO creation, ABP approvals, SKU syncing, etc.).
  • Manage integration platforms (Zapier, Make, custom webhooks, API connections).
  • Automate repetitive marketing tasks (UTM creation, content distribution, tagging, list management).
  • Work with the Ops/IT team on user permissions, access control, and security best practices.
  • Support Marketing Manager with:
  • Event tracking
  • Conversion API integration
  • Retargeting audiences
  • Custom event funnels
  • Maintain and troubleshoot tracking across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.
  • Ensure all ad platforms receive clean, deduplicated conversion data.
  • Work closely with Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Product Team, and Titan/Timber leadership.
  • Own the technical side of marketing-related projects:
  • Product launches
  • Website rebuilds
  • CRM migrations
  • ABP program automations
  • New digital tools for customers (calculators, configurators, build trackers)
  • Coordinate timelines, gather requirements, and provide technical oversight.
  • Build custom landing page components (HTML/CSS/JS).
  • Support custom Shopify theme edits and scripts.
  • Develop Airtable scripts to clean data, sync records, or generate BOM/variant data.
  • Manage API tokens, scripts, and integrations for complex automations.

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, digital marketing, or CRM/automation roles.
  • Background with e-commerce, D2C brands, or multi-brand environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting both lead-gen and online sales funnels.
  • Strong experience with email automation platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Experience with Shopify (themes, apps, product pages, checkout settings).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, UTM strategy, and funnel tracking.
  • Understanding of paid media tracking (Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, Conversion API).
  • Familiarity with Airtable, workflow automations, and scripting (JavaScript helpful but not required).
  • Experience working with Zapier, Make, or other integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, segment creation, and list management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cross-platform attribution.
  • Ability to make HTML/CSS edits.
  • Understanding of SEO.
  • Experience optimizing landing pages for conversions.
  • API experience or comfort reading API documentation.
  • Experience with heatmap tools (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity).
  • Exposure to A/B testing tools or experimentation frameworks.
  • Experience managing technical setup for product launches or online stores.
  • Highly organized, systems-minded, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong cross-team communicator; comfortable working with Marketing, Sales, Ops, and Leadership.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Resourceful problem solver who can learn new tools quickly.
  • A mindset for automation, process improvement, and efficiency.
