Working under the purview of the Strategic Communications Specialist, the Marketing/Communications Intern is responsible for assisting in advancing the mission and outreach of the agency to a wider public.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Collaborates to manage digital marketing campaigns through social media platforms and suggests new advertising ventures
• Assists with organizational writing and copywriting to enhance brand voice
• Analyzes the effectiveness of existing communication strategies and suggests/implements changes
• Periodically assists with content creation through writing, photography & videography
• Assists in updating and maintaining brand identity through graphic design
• Helps with agency-wide event planning
• Primarily works out of the office in Mount Pleasant, PA but travels up to 25% of the time for events and other commitments
• Other creative duties assigned as needed

The Ideal Candidate:

• Majors in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or related field
• Interest or proficiency in editorial writing or copywriting
• Interest or proficiency in Graphic Design and/or Visual Communication
• Social media savvy with knowledge of latest trends
• Enjoys collaborating on creative projects as a member of a team
• Current College Student local to Mount Pleasant, PA or the surrounding areas due to graduate in the next two years.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Background checks
• Physical/Mantoux TB required
• Pre-Employment Drug Testing
