Marketplace Performance Specialist
Own marketplace performance and revenue growth across Amazon, Noon, and international platforms by driving listing excellence, conversion optimization, and commercial execution at SKU level.
This role is accountable for revenue, visibility, and conversion performance, ensuring marketplaces contribute profitably while maintaining Bateel’s premium brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Performance & Revenue Ownership

Own revenue performance across Amazon, Noon, and other marketplaces

Track and analyze:

Revenue by SKU, category, and country
-
Conversion rate (CVR)
-
Traffic and sessions
-
Buy Box % (Amazon)
-
ACoS / ROAS (with performance marketing team)

Identify performance gaps and take direct action:

Low conversion → optimize content, images, pricing
-
Low traffic → improve SEO, keywords, discoverability
-
Sales decline → investigate stock, competition, pricing
-
Deliver weekly performance reports with clear actions and impact tracking
Listings & Conversion Optimization

Create, manage, and optimize listings across all marketplaces

Ensure premium, high-converting content:

Titles, bullet points, keywords
-
A+ content (Amazon)
-
High-quality images aligned with brand standards
-
Continuously optimize listings based on performance data
-
Improve conversion through:

Content upgrades
-
Bundling strategies
-
Pricing alignment
Amazon & Marketplace Execution

Manage Amazon Seller/Vendor Central operations

Optimize:

Keyword ranking
-
Product discoverability
-
Category and attribute mapping

Align closely with Ads team to:

Improve ROAS through better listing quality

Reduce dependency on paid traffic
Local & International Marketplace Management

Manage marketplace presence across:

UAE & KSA (Amazon, Noon)

International markets (Amazon US & EU)

Adapt listings based on:

Language (Arabic for KSA)
-
Customer behavior (gifting vs personal consumption)
-
Support onboarding of new marketplaces and partners
Stock, Pricing & Commercial Alignment

Coordinate with supply chain to ensure stock availability on key SKUs
-
Proactively flag risks:

Stockouts impacting ranking and sales
-
Overstock on slow-moving SKUs
-
Ensure pricing consistency across website, marketplaces, and retail
-
Support promotional planning and execution
Commercial Ownership & Brand Protection

Own marketplace revenue targets and growth plans
-
Ensure strict price parity across all channels
-
Protect premium brand positioning across marketplaces:
-
No excessive discounting
-
Consistent content and presentation
-
Recommend assortment strategy per platform:

Identify best sellers to scale
-
Flag low-performing SKUs for optimization or removal
Requirements
-
3–5 years experience in marketplace management (Amazon required)
-
Strong understanding of:
-
Amazon SEO and ranking factors
-
Listing optimization and conversion drivers
-
Marketplace operations (FBA/FBM, catalog management)
-
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actions
-
Experience in GCC markets (UAE/KSA) required
-
Experience in international marketplaces (US/EU)
-
High attention to detail and strong execution capability
