Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Marketplace Sales Representative to drive the growth of Madar’s digital marketplace. In this role, you will focus on expanding our supplier network, acquiring new vendors, and boosting marketplace engagement. You will play a key role in onboarding suppliers, ensuring they can operate efficiently on the platform, and maintaining strong commercial relationships to support performance and adoption.

You will help refine marketplace processes, support commercial initiatives, and enhance the overall supplier experience. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, timely issue resolution, and alignment with Madar’s broader business objectives.

The Marketplace Sales Representative is responsible for attracting and onboarding new suppliers, showcasing the platform’s capabilities, and ensuring ongoing engagement. You will manage relationships with shippers, carriers, and suppliers, promote platform adoption, support clients throughout the sales cycle, track activity via CRM tools, and provide insights on market trends to contribute to decisions that drive marketplace growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients, shippers, and carriers to promote Madar’s marketplace solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective marketplace users.
  • Conduct product demos and explain the value proposition of the Madar platform.
  • Drive marketplace adoption and ensure smooth onboarding for new users.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Customer Success) to ensure client satisfaction and effective exaction of sales initiatives.
  • Track sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the marketplace.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and user needs to inform product development and strategy.

Requirements

Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, e-commerce, or digital marketplaces is preferred.
    • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Sales & Business Development: generate leads, qualify prospects, close deals.
  • Marketplace or Digital Platform Knowledge: understanding online marketplaces, SaaS, or digital logistics solutions
  • Client Relationship Management: building and maintaining relationships.
  • Communication & Presentation: delivering persuasive presentations and demos.
  • Negotiation Skills: negotiating commercial terms and contracts.
  • CRM Proficiency: experience with HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Analytical Thinking: understanding market trends, client needs, and performance metrics
  • Problem-Solving: identifying challenges and proposing solutions
  • Team Collaboration: working effectively with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Customer Success)
  • Time Management & Organization: prioritizing tasks, handling multiple opportunities, and meeting targets
