Mason

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mason to join our construction team. The Mason will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, block, stone, concrete, and other masonry materials. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and experience working with a variety of masonry tools and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other masonry materials according to blueprints and specifications
• Mix and prepare mortar or grout
• Measure and cut materials to required sizes
• Construct walls, foundations, chimneys, walkways, and other structures
• Repair damaged masonry work
• Install structural supports such as lintels and anchors
• Ensure surfaces are level, aligned, and properly finished
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean worksite
• Collaborate with other construction workers and supervisors

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
• Knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mathematical and measuring skills
• Physical strength and stamina
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
