About the Role

We are seeking skilled and experienced Block Masons to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying concrete, cinder, or other types of blocks and bricks in construction projects, ensuring accuracy, durability, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and work with various types of bricks, blocks, and cement mixes.
• Measure, cut, and shape blocks using hand tools or power tools.
• Lay and align blocks with proper mortar mixture ensuring accuracy and level finishing.
• Construct walls, partitions, and other masonry structures with precision.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with safety standards.
• Repair and maintain existing masonry structures as required.
• Mix and apply mortar, grout, or plaster for block installation.
• Collaborate with project managers and other construction team members.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Ensure site safety and cleanliness throughout the work process.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Block Mason or similar role in construction.
• Knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
