Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and proficient Mason who excels in precise installation and finishing across various masonry works. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional ability to achieve perfect levels and slopes using both modern laser leveling technology and traditional "bolbol" (spirit level). A key focus of this role will be the accurate execution of block work, plastering, ceramic tiling, and interlock installation, with a particular emphasis on creating precise slopes for bathroom and kitchen floorings. The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of design requirements and be adept at utilizing modern tools.

Responsibilities:

• Execute high-quality block work for walls and structures, ensuring plumb and level alignment using laser and spirit levels.
• Apply smooth and even plaster finishes to walls and ceilings, maintaining strict adherence to level and plumb surfaces.
• Precisely install all types of ceramic and porcelain tiles on floors and walls, ensuring perfect alignment, even grouting, and impeccable finishing.
• Expertly install interlock paving, ensuring correct patterns, compaction, and levels.
• Crucially, create accurate and consistent slopes and gradients for bathroom and kitchen floorings to ensure proper water drainage.
• Utilize laser leveling equipment efficiently for large-scale leveling and alignment tasks, complementing with traditional "bolbol" for fine-tuning.
• Read and accurately interpret construction drawings, architectural plans, and design specifications to understand required layouts, patterns, and finishes.
• Prepare surfaces properly before commencing masonry work (e.g., cleaning, leveling, applying primers/bond coats).
• Operate and maintain all relevant masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards, adheres to project timelines, and complies with safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mason in the UAE, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse masonry work.
• Mandatory proficiency in using modern laser leveling equipment and traditional "bolbol" (spirit level) for highly accurate leveling and alignment across all tasks.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating precise slopes and gradients for wet areas, particularly bathroom and kitchen floorings.
• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in block work, plastering, ceramic/porcelain tiling, and interlock installation.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings, and a clear understanding of design intent.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to achieving impeccable finishes.
• Ability to troubleshoot common masonry issues and find effective solutions.
• Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in various conditions.
• Commitment to health and safety standards on site.

Working Hours:

9 hours per day, 1 day off per week.
