Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and validate mass spectrometry (MS) methods for qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex biological, chemical, or environmental samples.

Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot mass spectrometry instrumentation and associated laboratory systems.

Perform rigorous data interpretation and statistical analysis to ensure scientific accuracy and reproducibility.

Collaborate with R&D, quality, regulatory, and cross-functional teams to support project objectives and timelines.

Prepare detailed technical documentation, experimental protocols, validation reports, and scientific summaries.

Stay current with advancements in MS technologies, ionization techniques, and analytical workflows.

Present findings clearly through written reports, publications, and stakeholder presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Advanced hands-on expertise in mass spectrometry techniques (e.g., LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, MALDI-TOF, HRMS).

Strong background in analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting.

Ability to interpret complex datasets with high scientific rigor.

Proficiency in MS data processing and analysis software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary scientific environments.

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote work setting.

MS or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with industry-standard MS software (e.g., Xcalibur, MassLynx, Analyst, or similar platforms).

Experience in regulated environments (GLP, GMP, ISO standards).

Publication record or conference presentation experience.

Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, proteomics, metabolomics, or environmental analysis applications.
