We are currently looking for 2 experienced Master Data Specialists for a Pakistan-based project. The selected candidates will support ERP master data activities, data quality, system accuracy, reporting, data migration, and process improvement across finance, procurement, operations, IT, and business support functions.

Position Overview

The Master Data Specialist will be responsible for creating, updating, validating, maintaining, and improving master data records across ERP systems. The role involves working with platforms such as Oracle Fusion, FAP, SAP S/4HANA, and other ERP systems to ensure accurate, complete, consistent, and compliant master data.

This position is suitable for a detail-oriented professional with experience in master data management, ERP systems, data validation, data cleansing, reporting, upload templates, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Master Data Management

• Create, update, validate, and maintain master data records in ERP systems.
• Manage vendor, customer, item, employee, finance, project, material, product, and related master data as required.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, and standardization across systems.
• Perform data cleansing, duplicate checks, corrections, validation, and quality control activities.
• Maintain data according to company policies, approval workflows, governance standards, and project requirements.
• Follow standard operating procedures for master data creation, updates, approvals, and documentation.
• Maintain logs of data changes, approvals, corrections, and master data activities.

ERP, SAP & Data Support

• Work with ERP platforms including Oracle Fusion, FAP, SAP S/4HANA, and related business systems.
• Support data entry, data migration, data uploads, mapping, testing, and validation activities.
• Assist in resolving ERP master data issues, system discrepancies, and data-related errors.
• Prepare and maintain upload templates, data sheets, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Generate reports related to master data quality, missing information, pending requests, corrections, and operational data analysis.
• Support audits by ensuring proper documentation, approval records, and data traceability.
• Assist in process improvement, system optimization, and data governance initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with finance, procurement, supply chain, operations, IT, and business teams for master data-related requests.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve data issues and ensure timely data updates.
• Support users with master data queries, reporting needs, and system-related concerns.
• Communicate data requirements clearly with business and technical teams.
• Manage assigned tasks within deadlines and changing project priorities.
• Work closely with local and international teams where required.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Data Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in ERP, master data, finance data, procurement data, system support, or data administration.
• Experience working with ERP systems is required.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion is strongly preferred.
• Experience with FAP and ERP master data processes will be an advantage.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP master data processes will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of master data management principles and data governance.
• Good knowledge of data validation, data cleansing, duplicate checks, and reporting.
• Experience managing vendor, customer, item, material, product, employee, finance, or project-related master data.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Experience with data upload templates and reporting tools will be preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple data requests.
• Must be based in Pakistan or authorized to work in Pakistan.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in ERP implementation, SAP S/4HANA implementation, or data migration projects.
• Experience working with Oracle Fusion, FAP, SAP S/4HANA, or similar ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of finance, procurement, supply chain, operations, or business support processes.
• Experience with master data governance, approval workflows, process documentation, and reporting.
• Experience supporting audits, data traceability, and compliance-related documentation.
• Experience working with international teams or remote project environments.
• SAP, Oracle, ERP, or data management certification will be considered an advantage.
