Master Floral Designer

Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced floral designer to join our team as one of our Floral Designer's at Mason's Flowers. The ideal candidate would be someone who is creative, reliable, a team-player, thinks fast on their feet, connects with customers and has sales experience, and works well under pressure; while also skilled in modern, garden and traditional creations.

Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):

• Open/Close the business each day
• Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude
• Recommend custom piece for customer's budget and design in mind; take orders over phone or in person
• Utilize computer system for orders, emails, proposals
• Fulfill special custom orders
• Design and build floral creations independently
• Deliver floral arrangements
• Attend local on-site events/wedding set ups/breakdowns throughout the week/weekend (as needed)

Qualifications:

• Ability to produce high level floral designs in a variety of styles
• Ability to install and decorate items such as, Wreaths, Garland and Bows
• Ability to follow a predetermined design and replicate a sample
• Knowledge of flower varieties and seasonality
• Solid communication skills
• Excellent driving history
• Ability to act as a credible resource, positive and amiable brand ambassador while delivering an excellent customer experience
• Designer and Management experience required, as multiple locations are in the works!
• Available to work full-time and weekends for scheduled events.

Job Type: full-time

Pay: $20+ per hour, depending on experience and autonomy
