AAM/Dauch is looking for a Master Scheduler to join our Bluffton, IN team.Job Description:
Verify that customer EDI demand processed successfully. Manage and maintain customer manual demand.
Responsible for customer cum management and maintenance of customer schedule exceptions.
Coordinate weekly with production to develop a smooth production operations plan by production line.
Distribute weekly production planning reports to plant management.
Confer with trading partners to coordinate production or shipping activities and to help resolve issues that may affect delivery.
Revise production schedules when required due to material shortages, past due conditions, or other interruptions, collaborating with management and Production.
Generate weekly supplier forecast schedules based upon weekly production operating plan.
Create daily production requirements and communicate requirements to management and production team.
Monitor production data against daily and weekly build requirements.
Compile information, such as production line rates, inventory target levels, and customer information, so that status reports can be completed. Use information to update the production planning process for accuracy.
Coordinate and chair weekly scheduling meeting with plant management.
Work directly with advanced planning group and monitor and communicate customer demand for new programs.
Analyze capacities and constraints.
Maintain master data setups for planning accuracy.
Monitor PFEP collection plans for accuracy.
Create PFEP monthly inventory target calculations and monitor variances to targets.
Audit compliance to documented procedures.
Responsible to follow safe practices.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or certifications.
3+ years experience in an automotive/manufacturing customer facing position
Experieced in Covisint (or similiar) software.
