Job Purpose
The Master Technician – Denting is responsible for executing high-quality dent repair, bodywork restoration, and structural corrections on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards They diagnose and repair body damage, ensuring precision, durability, and compliance with company guidelines Additionally, they provide technical guidance to junior technicians and contribute to improving dent repair processes
Key Responsibilities
Financials
Achieve targets for Sold Hours, Efficiency, Productivity, and Overall Utilization
Strategic Implementation
Perform complex repairs on customer vehicles as per manufacturer standards and work instructions
Complete jobs within allotted time frames
Provide feedback on additional repairs to the Team Leader
Inform the Team Leader/Foreman in advance of any delays
Undertake overtime as required based on workshop workload
Record bodyshop materials on job cards
Raise parts requisitions accurately
Collaborate with team members for on-the-job training and guidance
Obtain approval from Team Leader/Foreman for additional repairs
Ensure materials drawn on job cards are used for the respective vehicle
Attend high-profile and corporate customer vehicles professionally
Stand in for the Team Leader and support operations as needed
Handle critical customer complaints and escalate to Team Leader when required
Mentor, coach, and provide on-the-job training to newly joined Denting Technicians
Assist the Team Leader with day-to-day operational activities

Ensure F1 – Fix it Right First Time approach
Handle customer vehicles safely and professionally
Learning & Growth
Participate in Training Needs Assessments conducted by the training academy
Develop technical skills through the Nissan training program
Maintain uniforms and safety shoes in clean condition
Use protective covers for customer vehicles
Keep the work area clean and organised
Policies, Procedures & Corporate Governance
Adhere strictly to workshop safety procedures and SOPs, including personal, equipment, and vehicle safety
Ensure compliance with Nissan Dealer Standards and process guidelines
Educational Qualification
Higher Secondary or Diploma, or equivalent
Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a dealership environment, with at least 2 years as a Denting Technician
Competencies
Extensive experience in automotive denting, body repair, and panel beating
Strong knowledge of traditional and advanced dent removal techniques, including PDR (Paintless Dent Removal)
Ability to read and interpret vehicle repair manuals and technical drawings
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
Computer literacy for reporting and documentation
