Randash Auto Center is hiring a Master-level Diagnostic/Heavy Line Technician in Bozeman—offering guaranteed hourly pay with weekly production bonus upside.

We are a well-established, family-owned operation servicing our own inventory and customer base. This is not dealership flat-rate chaos. We offer steady workflow, consistent hours, and a professional environment where accurate diagnostics matter more than rushing tickets.

Compensation

• $32–$35 per hour DOE (guaranteed base pay)
• Weekly production bonus based on flat-rate hours produced
• Top-tier technicians earn up to $475 per week in bonus at 60.1+ flat-rate hours
• Consistent 40-hour work weeks
• Monthly tool stipend after 90 days to maintain or upgrade tools

High-level technicians who produce consistently can earn strong weekly income with the stability of guaranteed hourly pay. This position offers the security of hourly wages with the upside typically found in flat-rate environments without the instability.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose complex gas engine drivability concerns
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and drivetrain systems
• Perform engine replacements, rebuilds, and major component overhauls
• Advanced electrical troubleshooting (modules, wiring, parasitic draws, sensor diagnostics)
• Engine performance and mechanical repairs
• Suspension, brake, and steering systems
• Provide clear diagnostic direction to other technicians when needed
• Document findings thoroughly and professionally

We do not work on diesel engines.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years automotive diagnostic experience
• Proven electrical troubleshooting ability
• Strong understanding of scan tool data and live data interpretation
• ASE certifications preferred
• Own tools required
• Clean driving record
• Professional, accountable, and production-focused
