Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for material selection, procurement, and timely delivery.
- Maintain a detailed inventory of materials, finishes, and samples for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Assist the design team in sourcing new materials, finishes, and innovative products aligned with project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain material boards, catalogues, and records for client presentations.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, and ensure quality checks of materials received.
- Liaise between design, site, and procurement teams to resolve material-related issues.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines by monitoring lead times and availability of materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in material coordination or procurement within the interior design/architecture industry.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with SketchUp/Enscape is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
