Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled
Material Engineer
with extensive experience in
construction, landscaping, and infrastructure projects
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the selection, testing, and quality control of construction materials to ensure project specifications, safety standards, and sustainability requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans, specifications, and material requirements for construction, landscaping, and infrastructure projects.

Evaluate, select, and recommend materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, metals, wood, etc.) based on project needs, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct laboratory testing and site inspections to ensure material quality and compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Monitor material procurement, storage, and handling to maintain quality control and reduce wastage.

Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve material-related issues.

Prepare technical reports, material test reports, and documentation for project submission and approvals.

Ensure compliance with local codes, environmental regulations, and sustainability practices in material selection and usage.

Assist in troubleshooting construction material failures or inconsistencies during project execution.

Keep up-to-date with advancements in construction materials, landscaping techniques, and infrastructure engineering standards.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3–7 years of experience in construction, landscaping, and infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of material testing standards (ASTM, BS, AASHTO, or equivalent).

Experience in quality control and assurance procedures for construction materials.

Familiarity with landscaping materials, soil stabilization, pavements, and infrastructure components.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or material testing software.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
