Job Description
Summary:
As a Material Expeditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet production schedules. You will coordinate with suppliers, monitor inventory levels, and expedite the flow of materials to support project timelines.
Job Responsibility:
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials according to project requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages to prevent delays in production.
- Expedite the flow of materials through the supply chain to meet project timelines.
- Communicate with internal teams to update on material status and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of material transactions and update relevant systems accordingly.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Expeditor or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
