Job summary/Role description

Material Preservation Coordinator cooperates with the construction, material control and Logistics groups to assure the timely and appropriate preservation of materials and equipment once received at site.

He/she operates in compliance with the specifications, procedures, quality requirements and health/environmental/safety regulations during the course of activities.
Duties and responsibilities
-
Coordinates preservation (and de-preservation as necessary) of materials and equipment in compliance with vendor and project and specifications and procedures.

Requisitions preservation equipment and tools as necessary.

Prepares and issues preservation reports as required by the field engineering manager.

Initiates and maintains preservation recording.

Requests, as necessary, relevant permits to perform preservation activities.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
-
A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any Engineering courses.
Experience
-
Minimum of 10 year's work experience.
-
Significant experience in in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects/ Refinery.
