We are currently seeking candidates for our Material Handler position to work in our manufacturing plant in Lafayette, CO. This full-time position(s) reports to the Colorado Plant Manager.


Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.


POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading and executing all distribution activities across the full material lifecycle, from receiving and inventory control through order fulfillment and shipping. The role ensures operational excellence by driving accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery to both internal and external customers. Serves as a subject matter expert in warehouse operations, maintaining right-first-time performance standards while supporting continuous improvement, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination


KEY JOB DUTIES

  • Lead inbound receiving operations, ensuring materials are accurately verified against documentation, transacted in the ERP system, properly labeled, and staged within established service level expectations.
  • Ensure all materials are stored in correct warehouse locations in compliance with company policies, including allergen control, quarantine procedures, and inventory segregation requirements. Conduct detailed inspections for damage, discrepancies, and quality concerns, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Oversee order fulfillment processes by accurately pulling, staging, and delivering materials to production and packing teams based on pick lists and system transactions, maintaining right-first-time accuracy and on-time performance standards.
  • Manage inventory integrity by properly processing returns to stock, performing inventory adjustments, and maintaining accurate system transactions.
  • Safely coordinate and execute trailer loading and unloading activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and proper material handling practices.
  • Support and help lead physical inventories and cycle count programs; drive stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO as applicable) and maintain organized, audit-ready bin locations.
  • Prepare and verify outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, documentation compliance, and on-time dispatch.
  • Perform controlled material destruction activities in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready warehouse environment aligned with 5S and safety standards.
  • Safely operate, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on material handling equipment, including forklifts and related equipment.
  • Serve as a key point of communication within the warehouse and across departments, promoting collaboration, accountability, and timely issue resolution.
  • Utilize and support optimization of the ERP system for receiving, inventory control, adjustments, and shipping transactions; assist in training team members as needed.
  • Promote and model a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, accuracy, and efficiency aligned with company performance objectives.
  • Support special projects, process improvements, and other operational initiatives as assigned.

COMPANY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug screens.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to recognize audible hazards.
  • Able to lift and move 50lbs from the floor to a height of 48 inches multiple times a day.
  • Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, climb, perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
  • Follow GMP, PPE, and company safety policies in performance of job duties.
  • Maintain good attendance.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or General Warehouse experience.
  • Valid Forklift License
