Material Handling Coordinator

Synopsis

We are looking for an experienced warehouse professional to join our team. Responsible for inbound and outbound delivery coordination, material handling, loading and unloading, securing packing materials, following guidance on standard pallet building etc. Comfortable with forklift/reach truck driving in a large multi purpose warehouse.

Accountabilities

1. Deal with vendor delivery representatives, check the delivery documents and validate the PO and quantity available in the system.
2. Physical receiving of local supplies, physical inspection of goods, prepare checklist and where necessary raise vendor non conformance forms for non compliance on delivery.
3. Guide on building standard pallet and physical put away to designated bins; shared responsibility of physical put away of all stock items received in a day and complete the task on the same day.
4. Update SAP system with daily put away, post GRNs and secure delivery documents for future audit purposes.
5. Offload items from containers/trucks upon receiving; pelletize physical put away of import shipments.
6. Internal physical stock movements and rearrangements, conduct daily put away audit, monitor and ensure compliance with internal safety requirements.
7. Participate in cycle count and annual physical stock count.
8. Licensed to drive reach truck for put away and for unloading assistance; drive forklift.
9. On outbound side, make sure the daily dispatch of materials are loaded on time and delivery documents are handed to the responsible driver who delivers to various points of delivery.
10. In general, a multi tasking job between inbound and outbound where appropriate.

Education & Experience

• Higher secondary education and working experience in ERP system SAP WM module.
• UAE licensed reach truck and forklift operator; light vehicle driver license.
• Minimum 3 5 years of experience in a large warehouse operation.
