Material Management Engineer
In this role, you will be responsible for Monitoring daily material management activities, executing monthly reviews, and handling project-specific material planning to ensure timely availability, cost efficiency, and smooth production operations.
Your responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Material Master, Vendor Info Record, Source list, MRP, and purchasing data.

Monitor and execute MRP runs, demand planning, and Supply network planning.

Create and manage Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Contracts.

Ensure correct material types, valuation, material status, MRP types, and procurement types.

Track inventory accuracy (cycle counts, monthly/annual stock audits).

Monitor safety stock, reorder levels, and slow-moving/obsolete material reports.

Support SAP S/4HANA enhancements, testing (UAT), and deployment.

Prepare dashboards/reports:

Inventory status
-
MRP exception messages
-
Open POs / pending deliveries
-
Material consumption and forecast
-
Ensure adherence to SOPs for procurement and warehouse.

Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ISO standards.

Support cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Finance, Logistics).
-
Responsible for planning and monitoring of the customer schedules.

Ensure material availability on time, by working along with supply chain department and thereby avoiding loss in productivity

Responsible for dispatch planning, coordinating with the Manufacturing, Logistics, stores and customers for on time delivery.

Hands on experience in Annual Inventory and Perpetual Inventory count.
Our requirements:

Technical degree or equivalent experience with strong intellectual and analytical abilities.

Minimum 5–6 years of experience in production planning, with deep technical and manufacturing knowledge.

Expertise in production planning and scheduling, material planning, and inventory control, with strong proficiency in SAP (PP & MM modules) and thorough knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PP & MM modules.

Strong understanding of SAP data processes and their integration with business operations.

Customer service and business-oriented mindset, focused on achieving targets and delivering measurable results.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Team-oriented leader with well-developed interpersonal skills and proven experience managing and motivating teams.
