Job Position: Material Planner

Reports to: Supply Planning Lead - AMET

Location: Sakarya

Main purpose of the role:

• Ensure material supply (raw and packing materials) to meet the planned requirements in the short term horizon.
• Maintaining packing materials inventory to agreed policies.
• Establish and execute the material call off schedules to support production plans.
• Monitors supplier delivery performance (VMI, Call-off, and/or Order based).
• Adheres to the Supplier order policy i.e. lead times and MOQ as defined in the Service Level Agreements.

Main Accountabilities:

Material Management:

• Run Daily MRP on the agreed production plan
• Prepare reports for the Planning Manager and teams
• Do daily call-offs, follow up with the deliveries
• Responsible for keeping the material stocks at target stock level
• Quarterly updates on target stock levels through stock modelling
• Chair monthly S&OP meetings with suppliers to address operational issues and drive improvements in the process
• Run up/down of packaging materials in times of innovations/promotions to ensure limited business waste and on time availability of new materials
• Maintain lines of communication with suppliers and/or Supply Management on the performance of the suppliers.
• Execute savings projects in coordination with Supply Management team
• Leading Supplier flexibility projects (VMI, Milkrun, etc.) to improve responsiveness
• Master Data maintenance and system hygiene maintenance
• Ensure OTIF implementation of SNC (Supply Network Collaboration)
• Being part of Manufacturing Excellence program
• Strong Cooperation with Production, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, Demand Planning, R&D and Marketing Teams

Essential Requirements

• 1-2 Years Supply Planning/Material Planning/Import Planning required.
• Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Engineering or Business Admin. Supply chain (APICS etc) qualification advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience on ERP (S&D, MM, MPS, APO modules)
• Fluent in English & Turkish.

Preferred Requirements

• FMCG background is preferred
• SAP experience is a must. Kinaxis experience is a plus
• Factory Experience is a plus
• Skilled with Excel
• Skilled with PowerBI
• Preferably no military obligation for male candidates
