Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide suppliers with accurate scheduled orders and forecast requirements to meet production requirements
- Monitor and maintain supplier purchased fastener inventory to ensure controllable production shortages do not occur
- Communicate weekly with our partners for logistics, transportation, and customs at minimum
- Coordinate international trade compliance (North America, Asia, and Europe)
- Implement Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) connections with customers in liaison with EDI team at Germany headquarters
- Work with the Logistics team to continuously improve processes and procedures to the improvement of the overall business processes
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the Logistics Department
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Internet based shipping applications, electronic filing programs, and Microsoft Dynamics products preferred
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma with training and experience in an administrative role, preferably concentrated in Supply Chain and/or Logistics
- Associates degree in Logistics or related field a plus
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in material planning with a concentration in the automotive industry a plus

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
