Material Planner - Bulk

Job Description

Job Purpose :

To organize and manage cost-effective sourcing & distribution management and to provide logistics services in the most safe and economical manner to improve customer satisfaction and enhance profitability.

Principal Accountabilities :

1. Managing the supply chain including product sourcing, meeting customer demands, and other logistics activities.
2. Coordinate with sources for regular supply of gases/liquids as per demand and supply plan.
3. Handling import/export DG cargo shipments (tanks, cylinders, dewars) - pure gases and mixtures.
4. Arranging import/export shipment of packaged gases and bulk liquids through cross borders - full coordination with supply chain, operation team, freight forwarder, and customs clearing agents.
5. Arranging shipment from GCC to KSA; KSA to GCC.
6. Handling local deliveries and documentation required by customers, and obtaining all customs formalities.

Provides teamwork with different departments such as sales, production, and supply chain.

Skills

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics, preferably in an industrial gas company or any DG companies.
• Basic knowledge of compressed gases and bulk gases.
• Self-motivated.
• Good computer skills such as ERP, MS Office, and other software knowledge and experience.
• Fluent in English and the local language.
