Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Purchaser to join our team. The Material Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and supplies needed for field operations. This role is critical in ensuring projects run smoothly, on budget, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and purchase materials,

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers and vendors.

• Maintain relationships with current suppliers while developing new vendor contacts.

• Track and anticipate project needs to avoid shortages.

• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations in materials.

• Ensure timely delivery of all purchased materials to meet project deadlines.

• Collaborate with operations and project managers to forecast material requirements.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices, and cost reports.

Qualifications:

• Previous purchasing or procurement experience (oilfield and industrial experience preferred).

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Knowledge of supply chain processes and vendor management.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
