Material QC Inspector (Oil & Gas)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a major EPC company, for an upcoming Oil & Gas construction project in the UAE.

Position Details

• Job Title: Material QC Inspector
• Industry: Oil & Gas | Site Construction Phase
• Employer: International Engineering Company
• Contract Type: Contract Hire through MPH (MPH Sponsorship & Payroll)
• Contract Duration: 24 months (extendable based on project requirements)
• Work Location: Site-based (flexible to work on multiple sites)
• Expected Start Date: ASAP

Salary & Work Conditions

• Monthly Salary: AED Competitive
• Working Hours: 8–10 hours per day, 6 days per week

On-Site Provisions:

• Food, accommodation and transportation provided on site

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Site QC Manager on all quality-related matters
• Attend joint inspections with Implementation Contractor teams
• Perform visual inspection of materials against packing lists (type, size, grade, class, quantity, heat number, part number, etc.)
• Review material documentation for completeness prior to COMPANY inspection
• Coordinate with COMPANY representatives during receiving inspections
• Report material deficiencies or damages to the Procurement team
• Raise NCRs for non-compliance cases
• Monitor warehouse storage and preservation as per Vendor and COMPANY specifications
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Project Quality Management

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong site experience is mandatory
• ADNOC site experience and approval is highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with EPCM Oil & Gas companies
• Maximum 1-month notice period
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline
• ISO certification is an advantage
• Fluent English communication skills (written & spoken)
