Job Summary
The Material Resource Planner at Faygo Beverages supports the production and supply chain planning processes to ensure efficient manufacturing and distribution of beverages. This role involves coordinating schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with data analysis to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling: Assist in creating and updating production schedules to align with demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
- Inventory Monitoring: Track raw materials, packaging, and finished goods inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production.
- Data Entry and Analysis: Input and maintain accurate data in planning systems and generate reports on production metrics, inventory status, and schedule adherence.
- Coordination: Collaborate with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials.
- Order Support: Assist in processing customer orders and coordinating with distribution teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Compliance: Ensure planning activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and quality regulations.
- Issue Escalation: Identify and report any planning or inventory discrepancies to senior coordinators or managers for resolution.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in planning preferred
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and ability to learn planning software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certifications: None required; training will be provided on the job.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based work with occasional visits to the production floor or warehouse.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer.
