Material Resource Planning Controller

What You will Do:


  • Very good experience in planning, executing and tracking the projects,
  • Daily management through the life cycle of the program. Ensure projects are aligned with the strategic plan of the organization
  • Enter sales order demand per ZFOC/RAS
  • Update vet log with new projects/status on existing projects.
  • Provide updates to PM’s on project status
  • ECC issues
  • Create deliveries and coordinate shipping with FAST warehouse on customer projects.
  • Setup new assembly part numbers in SAP (controls projects, assemblies with live BOM only)
  • Create production orders for controls projects requiring engineering support in Houston.
  • Create purchase requisitions for components on production orders – ensuring all critical project information is listed.
  • Expedite components required for production orders with appropriate MRPC/SC personnel.
  • Coordinate shipping of components requiring configuration to and from Houston/FAST warehouse.
  • Maintain organized project inventory in Houston storage room, and log of items removed from room to engineering for configuration.
  • Coordinate with engineering for configuration/verification of controls items, maintain updated completion dates on corresponding production orders.
  • Verify costs on finished production orders prior to closure.
  • Receive purchase orders for virtual delivered components i.e. software and issue said components to requiring production orders.

Power Turbine Kits

  • Regular run of MRP on planned orders, verifying schedule of each, and maintaining current completion dates based on last part out.
  • Convert planned orders to production orders and send to FAST warehouse for processing.
  • Update/meet with forecasting team monthly or as needed to coordinate planned orders/upcoming demands.

PT Repair & Overhaul

  • Work with Lora to coordinate receipt/processing of PT’s and accessories.
  • Create/Maintain SM01 orders for repairs to be processed in Montreal.
  • Receive/issue damaged/repaired items to SM01 to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Create Purchase Requisitions for framework/service PO’s for PT strip/repair activities.

General MRPC Activities

  • Update material master info/item changes withing SAP as changes are made in PLM and pushed to SAP.

What You Will Bring:

  • AS/BS degree or minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Confident knowledge of office computer programs (MS Office), MS project & Jira
  • Proactive, independent personality
  • Excellent communication, organizational problem solving skills required.
  • Strong in SAP
  • Min. 3yrs experience as Project coordinator and MRPC

Pay Range: ($30 to $35/hr).

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Houston, TX

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
