About this role:

Fuse is looking for a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support the production, engineering, quality, and program teams in driving to excellence in on-time, high-quality deliveries. Apply your dynamic and highly organized mindset to organize and control inventory and assets for our sophisticated electronics solutions. This role will be integral to Fuse’s ability to deliver products for U.S. defense agencies that improve the sharing of information among warfighters distributed throughout airborne, maritime, and ground environments.

Successful candidates will be nimble self-starters who are excited about Fuse’s technology and thrive with ownership of material and processes.

You will be responsible for performing a combination of duties involved in tracking, organizing, storing, and issuing equipment, materials, and supplies in our Production Laboratory, System Integration Laboratory, and Warehouse. The successful candidate will be able to track, log, verify, and compile various reports for received material, and examine stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Control, manage scheduling of, and issue capital line replaceable units for tests and demonstrations
  • Improve kitting processes and ensure production kits are prepared for production work orders
  • Coordinate timing of incoming materials to support production scheduling
  • Assist in the creation of purchase requisitions to cover projected material shortfalls
  • Maintain control and inventory of production components and government property
  • Improve inventory organization and documentation processes physically and in the Enterprise Resource Planning system
  • Fulfill standard and immediate inventory requests and kit manufacturing requests
  • Inputs data to maintain configuration management compliance with various computer software systems
  • Assist in compliance with AS9100 quality management system and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Assist in COMSEC management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5-7 years of experience in inventory management
  • US Citizen (requirement)
  • Experience working in a production manufacturing environment
  • Solid judgment to proactively identify and solve complex problems
  • Experience utilizing ERP system
  • Ability to visually present current and projected inventory levels, shortfalls, and kit status
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in changing situations
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across departments and with supervisors and managers
  • Knowledge of computer operations, applications, word processing, and spreadsheets.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and/or Jira

  • Participated in or supported AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems and/or audits
  • Assisted in establishing inventory management and kitting processes
  • Familiarity with DCMA contract property administration requirements desired
  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
